It just seems to be the way the car is designed, the seals keep the muck out of the car but stick to the metal door internals. I clean it off and make sure the metal below the seal is really waxed. This makes cleaning an easy job or just a simple wipe with a micro fibre cloth.

Hi, a friend has purchased a 2020 Rav 4 hybrid, and is most disappointed in the fact that the rear door archways seem to hold all the mud and spray off the rear wheels. It makes it almost impossible to get in to the rear seats without getting your clothes covered in mud. Surely this should be a warranty issue, or is it a fault with the model?
