Hi Bob, yes, this is a real problem.  It is not just the Yaris Cross that is affected though, I had the same issue on my CHR's.  The answer is run the engine for about 10-15 minutes every other day if you are not driving the car, or buy a battery boost pack or roadside assistance to get you going again. The problem is worse in cold weather, you may need to run the car every day when it is cold outside to keep the battery charged up.  When not using the car, make sure everything is switched off like dash-cam, aircon, heated seats etc. Hope this helps :)
