Do you have trouble with battery run down?

Hi David,

If you mean the 12v battery that starts the car, this can become an issue if the vehicle is not driven regularly - cold weather affects this more. For example, if my car stands for 14 days in winter, there is a good chance it will need a jump start (booster packs are a great solution for this!). Anything that draws power should be switched off or unplugged before leaving the vehicle for extended periods, e.g. aircon, dashcam, heated seats/steering wheel. The issue can be avoided by driving more than 30 minutes regularly with the petrol engine running (motorway), or run the petrol engine for 10 minutes every couple of days while parked ☺️
