Hi, probably best to ask a dealership or Toyota itself direct for their latest advice/ warranty period and costs for new batteries. As an owner I can answer more general questions on my experience and impressions of the Corolla which hopefully can help potential buyers make a more informed choice on a car purchase.

There are two batteries on the Corolla Hybrid, one is the drive battery,I understand (as told at the time of purchase)that if the car is serviced by Toyota dealers every year it is guaranteed for 15 years.

The smaller battery is a 12 volt one , I would think guarantee on that one 3 years at least,it is used for powering the computer, and anti-theft alarm etc.it is also used bring the car to a ready condition to enable it to be driven. It must not be used to jump start a normal Car.

Toyota's experience with their other models of hybrid cars makes them confident to issue the life of the Hybrid drive battery guarantee.
