happened twice today on my Yaris cross. Toyota eventually replaced 12v battery. the problem is very hit and miss with some owners claiming no problem and others like myself experiencing multiple events.
there is a problem no matter what Toyota claim and one day they will fix it - its unacceptable to suggest you can't leave a car for a few days without the battery failing. plus on the first occasion mine failed after a 30 mins drive and then being left in a car park for 30 mins!
I know have a Ring trickle charger plugged in when not using the car but to me this is unacceptable to have to spend another £50 when spending £30k on a new car!
