Mine has Apple CarPlay in it, enabling you to use Google Maps, Waze and Apple Maps on the display and with turn by turn instructions coming over the audio.
I believe the same facility is there for Android handsets too.

I just plug in my phone. It’s about the only bugbear I have with the car is it’s only got one usb so can’t use satnav on phone & play music from usb stick at the same time.

but all you need to do is use apple car play or android auto
